Laina Koryakos, PA-C is a physician assistant who serves patients at our Glendale, Phoenix, and Avondale AZ clinics. Born in Chicago and raised in Arizona, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Arizona State University in 2016. She then earned a Master of Health Sciences and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies in 2021 from Touro University Nevada.
Laina began her career in pediatrics, where she developed a strong foundation in caring for children and supporting families. She later joined HealthyU Clinics, working as a family medicine provider and caring for patients of all ages while managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. Through this experience, she developed a deep appreciation for comprehensive, continuity-based care. Laina later transitioned into a specialty provider role, where she now focuses on pain management, weight management, and other wellness services.
She is passionate about providing excellent patient care, which includes educating patients about their health and always putting their needs first. Laina prioritizes building trusting relationships with her patients so they feel comfortable, supported, and confident in their care. She believes every patient is unique and deserves personalized treatment from start to finish.
When she’s not working, Laina spends time with her husband, three daughters, and extended family. Her family enjoys playing video games, watching movies, and watching sports together
