Biography

Robert Claflin, DO, CAQSM, is a primary care and sports medicine doctor serving patients of all ages at our Gilbert Baseline Rd clinic. Dr. Claflin earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Wellness from Arizona State University and his medical degree from Midwestern Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2017.

Dr. Claflin completed his family medicine residency at East Carolina University in Greenville, South Carolina in 2020 and a sports medicine fellowship in 2021. He started working in private practice family medicine and sports medicine in 2021 and joined the HealthyU Clinics team in 2022. During his career in the sports medicine field, Dr. Claflin has worked with high school, collegiate division I, and professional athletes.

During his free time, you’ll find Dr. Claflin exercising, trying new restaurants, traveling, going to movies, and spending time with family and friends.
