Biography

Dr. Karandikar is a resident physician in the Abrazo Family Medicine Residency Program dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care with a focus on prevention, women’s health, and adolescent medicine. 

A Phoenix native, Dr. Karandikar earned her undergraduate degree in Physiology and Psychology from the University of Arizona and completed her medical education at Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, including a Master’s in Biomedical Sciences. Her clinical interests include full-spectrum family medicine, preventive medicine, women’s health, and adolescent medicine. She is committed to building continuity of care, improving her medical Spanish, and participating in community service initiatives to support the health of her patients. 

Outside of medicine, Dr. Karandikar enjoys exploring new coffee shops and restaurants, reading, hiking, and spending time with her dog.
