Dr. Peter Wilson is a cardiovascular specialist who is board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology, and Internal Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and brings over 39 years of experience to HealthyU, where he now practices after previously serving at Saint Vincent Medical Group before the practice was acquired.
Dr. Wilson provides individualized treatment plans for a wide range of cardiovascular conditions and diseases, including but not limited to Coronary Artery Disease, Arrhythmia, Cardiomyopathy, Heart Failure, Hypertension, and Valvular Heart Disease. He believes that getting to know his patients well—through strong communication and mutual trust—is essential to providing the highest level of care.
Passionate about preventive cardiology, Dr. Wilson enjoys educating both patients and medical students on simple lifestyle changes that can have a profound impact on long-term health and well-being.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Wilson has held numerous leadership positions, including serving as Medical Director of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program at UMass Memorial HealthAlliance Hospital in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.
