Dr. Lou Ivanovic received his cardiology training at the University of Illinois and spent the majority of his career in Chicago practicing clinical, diagnostic, invasive, and interventional cardiology. Much of his work focused on treating symptomatic and critically ill patients, with a strong emphasis on hospital-based care.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Ivanovic was deeply involved in academic medicine, training hundreds of young physicians through residency and fellowship programs.
In recent years, his professional focus has shifted toward preventive cardiology. He founded, developed, and directed the Early Vascular Disease Detection and Prevention Program at Cardiovascular Consultants in Phoenix, which utilized AI-augmented cardiac CT imaging to detect and analyze early vascular disease and plaque development.
Looking ahead, Dr. Ivanovic aims to oversee the continued growth of the cardiology department at HealthyU Clinics and to lead the development of its preventive, clinical, and invasive cardiology programs.
