Makensey is a Family Nurse Practitioner, having earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Masters of Science in Nursing degrees from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She is ANCC Board Certified and has been practicing at Ma’am Exams since 2020.

Makensey is from Utah, where she still loves to visit family and friends. While it has taken time to adjust to the Arizona Summers, she does not miss the snow. Her husband is from Mesa and together they have three handsome little boys. The Durrant home is full of energy and you can always find them at a nearby park, playground, or Costco!
