Biography

Janelle Romero is a certified physician assistant.  She received her bachelor’s degree in molecular and cellular biology from the University of Arizona. After graduation, she stayed in Tucson to gain experience researching movement disorders in both the laboratory and clinical settings. She furthered her education by obtaining a master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago.

While in Illinois, she worked in pediatric urology but ultimately was called back to the Valley of the Sun where she grew her career in family medicine. With over 15 years of experience, she enjoys developing relationships with patients and utilizing shared decision making to improve their quality of life and health outcomes. In her free time, she enjoys camping and attending baseball games with her husband and 3 boys.
