Lisa Shaffer is a Board-Certified Adult to Geriatric Nurse Practitioner and a proud graduate of Grand Canyon University for her undergraduate degree, followed by Walden University for completion of her Graduate studies. During her long professional career, beginning in nursing, Lisa demonstrated strong leadership skills coupled with a passion for helping others. She went on to help bridge gaps while serving in underprivileged patient populations. She quickly volunteered her services to help the elderly in her community by hosting blood pressure clinics and English teaching classes. Her determination to make a difference has proven successful in her patient panel who often describes her as “caring, compassionate and kind.”
She is an avid listener who thrives to get to the bottom and solve the clinical issues faced by many in healthcare today. Lisa prides herself on practicing current evidence-based medicine and service to others. She believes in the mantra of being “part of the solution.” In her spare time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, walking her dogs and studying the latest medical trends.
