Dr. Tanvee Dhruva is a Family Medicine physician at HealthyU, having previously practiced at the Sterling location of Saint Vincent Medical Group before the practice was acquired. Coming from a family of medical professionals, Dr. Dhruva practiced OB/GYN for many years before training to become a Family Medicine physician. Her diverse skill set allows her to treat a wide range of patient concerns, with a particular focus on women’s health.
The breadth of Dr. Dhruva’s experience informs her approach not only to patient care but also to staying current with new medical advances and treatment options. “I want my patients to be aware of their options, and I strive to inform them about new information and treatment related to their health concerns. This provides them with the guidance they need to make knowledgeable health decisions.”
A strong believer in evidence-based medical guidelines, Dr. Dhruva provides care and encouragement to patients working to improve lifestyle factors such as diabetes and cholesterol management. “I discuss these issues at length with my patients. I want them to understand the impact of their lifestyle choices, and I offer attainable ways to begin making better choices.”
Board certified in OB/GYN and Sonography, Dr. Dhruva completed her Family Medicine residency at MetroHealth Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Before transitioning into Family Medicine, she served as a staff Obstetrician/Gynecologist in India and Saudi Arabia. She earned her M.D. from Sheth K.M. School of Post Graduate Medicine in Ahmedabad, India.
