Biography

Varesh is a seasoned healthcare executive with over 20 years of experience in executive leadership, strategic planning, operations, Mergers and Acquisitions, value-based care and change management. He holds an MHA from USC and an MBA from Claremont Graduate University and worked with American Express and Westar before co-founding 4C Medical Group in 2011. Under his leadership as CEO, 4C Medical Group grew from a 4-physician group to one of Arizona’s largest privately held integrated primary care medical groups, before being acquired by Optum, part of United Health Group, in 2019. After the acquisition he transitioned to the role of Senior Vice President for Optum in Arizona and CEO for Lifeprint ACO, a subsidiary of Optum that participates in the Medicare Shared Savings Program.

Varesh has also held board of director positions at the Rotary Club of Scottsdale, Asian Corporate and Entrepreneur Leaders, USTA Southwest and Arizona Bank and Trust. An avid athlete, he enjoys the spirit of competition and challenge of constant improvement that sports foster and spends most of his free time either on the Tennis Court, the Golf Course, and more recently, on the pickleball court.
