George Bernt, FNP-C, is a certified family nurse practitioner. He serves patients in Chandler, Arizona, at HealthyU Clinics.
George was born in Oregon and raised in Alaska. He attended the University of Alaska Fairbanks, receiving his bachelor’s degree in chemistry. George then received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona, in 2014.
He then attended Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, where he graduated from the Family Nurse Practitioner Program and received his Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN-FNP) in 2018. He is currently pursuing certification to become a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.
George joined Jones Family Medicine in 2018, where he worked in a primary care and family medicine setting. He began working for HealthyU Clinics in 2022 when Jones Family Medicine was acquired by HealthyU Clinics. Previously, George worked as a registered nurse in the Neurological Progressive Care Unit at Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona.
When he’s not seeing patients, you can find him spending time with his wife, Jennifer, and their dogs, Miles and Piper, at home barbecuing, baking, or traveling to new locations.
